Kunja Dasji was the senior-most among the living members of the original Mahanam Sampraday. He was next to Mahendraji and lived at Sri Angan for several years. He then established an Ashram of Prabhu at Dahapara, Murshidabad, West Bengal, the birthplace of Prabhu Jagadbandhu. Worship of Prabhu's image and Annual Birth Anniversary are being performed there with all earnestness. Kunja Dasji was an ideal devotee, absorbed in 'Bhajan'. His voice was very sweet and he could sing Kirtan excellently well even in his advanced age. He had a wide range of study of all the Vaisnabite Sastras, including those of Prabhu. He passed away on 5th Sraban, 1388 B.E. (1981 A.D.).
