Appearance (holy birth) date: Maghi Purnima, January 29, 1896 Disappearance date: January 8, 1941 Boyhood name: Vinod, name after renunciation: Swami Pranabananda Brahmachari Father: Bihnu Charan Bhuiya, Mother: Sarada Devi Born by the Holy Blessings of Lord Shiva Initiated (Diksha) by Yogiraj Gambhirnathji in 1913 Attainment of supreme spiritual power (Siddhi) by practising asceticism: 1916 Established Bajitpur Pranav Math: 1917 Embarked on serving the poor and destitutes of all castes: 1919 Established Bharat Sevashram Sangha in Madaripur Town, Satkhira and Khulna: 1921 Established Bharat Sevashram Sangha in Kolkata: 1922 Officially received the name of Bharat Sevashram Sangha and established Naugaon Ashram: 1923 Attended Ardha Kumbha Mela in Allahabad and took full ascetism and renunciation (Sannyas) from Swami Govindananda Giri from whom he got the name of Swami Pranavanada: 1924 Served humanity through all encomapassing social welfare in various ways: 1925-1940 Passed on in Kolkata: 1941 (a life-span of 3 weeks short of 45 years) As per His wishes He was buried in the Temple of Pranav Math.
